Event: SMTE looks at the future of television

On Monday 11 November I’ll be attending an event hosted by the Society of Motion & Television Engineer (SMTE) on the role of apps and video on-demand in the future of television. It’s held at the University of Salford at MediaCityUK and runs from 6pm-9pm. You can register for the event on Eventbrite – it’s free.

The event will focus on the different nature and delivery of live and on-demand TV and how technology can combine these two essentially separate experiences more smoothly. You can find out more about the event and SMPTE on their website.
